Ancestor of all hard soaps, Alep soap was known in the city of the same name in Mesopotopia more than 40 centuries ago.The secret of its fabrication, handed down from generation to generation by master soap-makers, still remains unchanged. A clever mixture of olive oil, laurel-berry oil, water and natural soda is elaborated in a stone caldron. When the soap is almost dry, it is cut up by hand into bars which are left in the open air and sunshine for more than 9 months; then the outside layer becomes beige in colour while the middle of the soap retains the deep-green oil colour. Finally the bars of soap are stuck with the seal of origin.

Properties : by dilating the skin pores, the olive oil (second cold pressure) has a deep-cleansing effect neither aggressive nor drying.

The laurel-berry oil, with its antiseptic and disinfecting properties, is an excellent sebum regulator and brings its stimulating and tonifying action while restoring the skin's hydrolipid layer.

Derm'Alep is recommended for daily skin-care, even for the most delicate skins as babies, but also as a shampoo for its anti-scurf action (once or twice a week). It is also recommended for people suffering for eczema, psoriasis and acne.
