Children's skin is much more fragile than adults because it is thinner, the hydrolipidic film does not yet ensure its protective function. Sun capital of children must be saved from an early age because if in childhood we get serious sunburn, its in adulthood that may develop intolerances of sun or worse skin cancer. More, children's melanogenesis (production of melanin in the skin) is limited which weakened the natural protection of the skin against UV rays. It is therefore essential to use for children fro an early age, effective protection against UVA and UVB. La Roche-Posay Laboratories has developed a range pediatric ANTHELIOS Dermo-Pediatrics, highly resistant to water, sand and sweat.

Properties

ANTHELIOS 50 Dermo-Pediatrucs Spray contains :

• MEROXYL® SX and MEROXYL®XL Filters
• They provide a complementary protection against UVA and UVB. The first is specially dedicated to combat UVA, those that penetrate more deeply into the skin and responsible for skin aging. Filter MEROXYL® XL, as to it, provides a protection against both types of UV rays, especially UVB, responsible for sunburn.
• Index SPF 50+
• SPF index corresponds to a value that measures the effectiveness oft he sunscreen product against UVB, the higher index the better your skin is protected.
• INDEX PPD 20
• PPD or Persistent Pigments Darkening is a value that evaluates the effectiveness of protection against UVA, the higher value the more protection is high.
• Multi-Resistant Texture
• It helps to maintain as longer as possible ANTHELIOS 50 Spray on the children's skin : it is resistant to sand, water and sweat.
• La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water
• It provides soothing and avoids irritations. Its high content of Selenium combat free radicals released by UV rays.

Directions for use

Apply easily on your child's body thanks to its fluid texture continual diffused. Renew application every 2 hours and after each swimming. If possible, do not expose your children between 10 and 15 hours or protect them with a tee-shirt. Put them hat and sunglasses.
